In this post, we will figure out how to download files from direct admin.
I migrated my blog from WordPress to Hugo and decided to create a backup of my static files (mostly images). As an admin tool for my site, I had the Direct Admin. You can download any files from Direct Admin using the 3 simple steps.
Go to any WordPress folder in Direct admin, select file (or files), and click on “Add to Clipboard” button:
Go to the bottom of the page and find the line “Compress clipboard files…”. It’s under the “Filesystem Tools” section. Then enter the name of your future archive. Also, you can choose the type of archive.
Click “Create” and the browser will prompt the download of the archive.
